Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups 340g semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons 28g unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • Optional: flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy lifting.
  • Melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and glossy.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt until combined.
  • Fold in nuts if desired, then pour mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and let set at room temperature for 2 hours or refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Lift from pan, cut into squares, and enjoy.

Notes

Use dark chocolate for a deeper flavor or milk chocolate for extra sweetness. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or refrigerate for 2 weeks. Fudge freezes well for up to 3 months.
