Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter plus more for greasing
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, butter, and vanilla.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  • Heat a greased skillet on medium-low heat and spoon small circles of batter.
  • Cook until bubbles form and edges set, then flip and cook another minute until golden.

Notes
