Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter e.g., Jif or Skippy
  • ½ cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg room temperature

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg until a sticky dough forms (about 30 seconds).
  • Let dough rest for 2–3 minutes.
  • Scoop into golf ball-sized portions, place 2 inches apart on the sheet, and press with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are slightly soft.
  • Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
